And So It Ends…
Well, this is probably my last blog, unless I have a strange urge to blog early tomorrow morning. It has been a wonderful journey that Eli has taken us on, and I have to say I will miss my constant HTV companions. I have seen a lot more of our lovely country, and stayed in more hotels than I can keep track of. Actually, all the days are starting to mesh together in my brain.
The funniest thing that happened today happened about thirty minutes ago. A few of us were already on the bus waiting for the others when all of a sudden, our bus mic started beeping spazztically. Annoyed by thisk, Michael started reading the newspaper on the mic, but that was worse, so we made him stop. Then all of a sudden, we here a woman’s voice on the speakers, talking to us about swimming tonight, and being back in a hotel by eleven o’ clock, so we were naturally very frightened. However, we discovered that a bus like ours was parked near by, and its mic system was bleeding into ours. Michael got back on and told them all to look to the left, which they all did rather studpidly, and gave us great enjoyment at their expense.
Hmm. That probably doesn’t sound as funny as when it actually happened. I’m excited to go home to my bed.
