I’m sorry to anyone who reads this that I haven’t updated for the past two days. We got to Paramus, NJ Friday evening, and planned on going to New York, but that failed. Not wanting to waste an evening when we could finish our story, Lindsey and I, plus our dear producer Brandon, set out to find a story… in our hotel. I think Mr. Goodwin might be an abnormal lucky-charm, because a woman who passed us in the lobby happened to have a very interesting story to tell. Anyway, after several hours, that is done as of this morning, and should be on the website soon.
On to important stuff: NEW YORK IS THE GREATEST PLACE IN THE WORLD! (That I’ve seen) I seriously think I could live there. I love the urban feel, and all the different cultures. We walked a little through Central Park, shopped in China Town for awhile, getting lots of knock-off stuff, ate in Little Italy, walked around Time Square, saw the Statue of Liberty, and saw Phantom of the Opera! Oh, and I almost forgot the subway! It is a delightful mode of transportation!
So I was kind of sad to leave this morning, or afternoon, but I’m excited to see Washington D.C. too!
